Medal of Honor Beta --- Not!

I popped onto Steam a few nights ago to see how the DICE made Medal of Honor (MOH) Beta test had gone. Overall, some defended the quality of the MOH Beta saying it was in fact a beta. Most players who posted were very negative in their opinion of the MOH Beta. The forum topic is located at this URL:

Mister Eveready: I've canceled my preorder twice. Once on steam, and the second at EA's store. This game is isn’t not worth 60$. $30 maybe. But over all the game is just hella boring. ... in my situation it was the lack of fun that got me. I really wanted to like this game, but it gets boring very quickly. Also the quality of the beta, even for beta quality is really low. Many of the bugs that were in BC2, or perhaps even those still in it, are in this. I would think that such a thing would at least be fixed by now.

TRMcDee: I don't understand why someone would buy this when they can just play BC2 and get more of everything, probably for cheaper.

There were several comments along the Bad Company 2 (BC2) line suggesting to get BC2 at $30. Play BC2 until MOH went down to $30. One very alarming comments said that the code had already been hacked and a cheat package was already available for MOH.

Personally it looks like they rushed out the code for the Beta test when the code was realistically at the Alpha test level. In other words, marketing is running the show. They put out flashy videos but the actual code is in poor shape. Having been in that situation myself leaves me feeling sorry for the developers. I am going to wait, keep playing BC2, and see how the MOH situation develops. I certainly do not intend to spend $60 bucks on it.

Tier 39-Unidad Level 4-Wildlands Battle Royale

A  Free-Play  Fur-Ball! Mass charges of over a dozen Unidad troops at a time. Little Bird gun ships,  Blackhawk Gatling gun and rocket pod choppers. Cobra attack helicopters shot down so close they crush an allied rebel and nearly pin me to the tower with the nose.    What started out as an aerial raid on Koani Airfield quickly became a Tier 39, Unidad patrol level 4 - fur ball. A Gatling gun equipped Blackhawk helicopter flies down the throat of Koani Airfield's three SAM sites and runway. Flying low to avoid a SAM launch, and raking the airfield with Gatling gun fire.
